A Life Worth Saving

 

A man risked his life by swimming through the

treacherous riptide to save a youngster being

 swept out to sea.After the child recovered from

the harrowing experience,he said to the man

 "thank you for saving my life"

the man looked into the boy's eyes & said

"That's okay,kid.Just make sure your life was worth saving"

 

Treacherous = not to be trusted

Riptide = causing a violent disturbance in the sea

Swept = to move,remove

Harrowing = extremely frightening & upsetting
